Happy dancing into a frenzy....(it was providential)

Remember how I just said I'd come to peace with not rushing my "And a Forest Grew" and decided to forgo this year's state fair and wait until next year? I was doing a normal Happy Dance because I finished it on Friday night and left it at the LNS on Saturday night.

Well, imagine my surprise when the LNS called at 2 p.m. today (Tuesday!) to say it was finished, ready for pickup. WHAT??!!?? I was prepared to wait a week or two, since I was so late in getting it done. And today just *happened* to be the "intake" day for state fair entries. So I ran over to the LNS, picked it up, went right to the fairgrounds, and entered it. And I was a nervous wreck about it for some reason. I think I kind of had mental/emotional whiplash from things happening too fast!

Really, if I'd actually *intended* it, this never would have come together!

Now the waiting....

Don't cross your fingers - how will you stitch? Not your eyes, either...maybe toes?

My GYN used to say the best form of birth control was to keep your knees crossed.

Sounds like my mother. 2 aspirin, between the knees. Or : Orange juice. Not before, not after, but instead of.

LOL! Point taken! My toes aren't quite that limber (not unlike the rest of me, sadly!), so I'll take Lucille's and Sara's suggestion for the knees!
