Happy Dancing!!

Finished hand sewing the binding on my Monster Mash quilt yesterday! Tis Done!

The quilt is fusible appliqued... with hand blanket stitch. (I really enjoy doing the hand blanket stitch and have done MANY quilts that way!)

You can see it in my webshots folder.

Now I have two tops nearly complete -- working on them at the Shipshewana. Both just need the outer borders... Then I need to buy backing and ship them back to Minnesota to my longarm quilter!

WOOHOO.... This was a 2 year old UFO -- so I"m happy to have it finished!

I LOVE Monster mash! What a darling quilt! And with *triangles*! LOL

Ooh what fun they are. So cheerful and happy I think!

That is *so* cute, Kate! Congratulations! :)

You like triangles? I did these with Thangles... which I love!

Anything for kids is always fun. I keep hoping my sons will give me grandchildren... in the meantime -- I keep making kiddy quilts -- bright colors are just fun to work with!

Thanks! I love working with bright colors and fun patterns!

Ooooooh! I love the one with all the "critters" on it!!!! Did you use a pattern? or design it yourself?

Of course I am dancing to the song: Monster Mash!! Wonderful quilt, Kate. I love how you 'enclosed the greenish strip border with those white triangles, which are bordered in turn by varied color triangles. I am having a difficult time explaining what I like, but I know what I mean! Grins,

The critters is a Linda Hohag (Brandywine Designs) pattern.
