Is anyone else watching the PBS series about a year in the life of amonarch? I find the whole thing so dignified and lovely. I'm surethere will be people who disagree with me and that's fine, but I wishAmerican politicos would stand on ceremony just a teensy bit. Maybewe do have protocol here, but I am unaware of it if we do.I do have hope and confidence in our new administration and soondignity will be restored and as a country we will be trusted onceagain. I am so horrified by what the current administration has doneto our good name in the world as ambassadors of peace and freedom. Anyway, is anyone watching it? It sure does look opulent and not ahair out of place. Does this annoy the bulk of the U.K. or is themonarchy favored? It sure is beautiful to look at all of thathistory, and maintenance of the gold leaf! As someone who does goldleaf work I am just in awe.Victoria
