Save your breath to cool your porridge, Caryn, I`ve plonked her anyway. ;-)) I`d sooner play that silly Kuma game that that so-and-so introduced us too! LOL! Have you tried it? It`s one of those daft ones that you tell yourself that you`ll do just ONCE more.......!

Not yet, Brenda - funny you should say that, though - when I close my eyes I see all those coloured balls racing round and blowing up. I`ve only got as far as 3-4. How many are there? Those blessed fish drive you nuts - they keep dying when you`re not looking!
I loved the Feeding Frenzy trial version, but don`t think I`d buy it. Bookworm`s good, too.

Brenda Lewis had some very interesting things to say about Re: OT: Wilma Wow!:
I think I'll skip that (I'm finding Sudoku addictive enough these days (grin)).

Would you mind putting it off until my grandson`s finished his visit to Washington and Gettysburg in a few weeks time? Please? ;-)

Judging by what we`ve seen on the news this morning - you`ll be lucky if Cancun is still THERE!
One thing about this year`s hurricane season - it doing wonders for my geography!

I do that every year - track the Atlantic hurricanes and try and use it as a teaching tool with the DS. Cheryl

Yea, it's not looking pretty. The timing is tough, because if we decided to go some place else, we need to make the decision now, but it's hard to say what shape Cancun will be in in three weeks. The hotel may be open, but will there be a beach there? Will there be any services? Will there be anything to do? Oh well, at least we aren't already there and stuck in a shelter -- or one of the local residents. But thanks for the good wishes!
See, there's a bright side to everything. :-)

That'd be Louisiana, right, and not the city up the freeway from me?

Gimme a break, Brenda! No chocolate hangs around this group long enough to get moldy!

What a pity Heather that you didn`t join me in a any discussion about fiberart ? , you could not answer me directly about my wondering , what you liked so much about my art to tell me it is phenomenal. You could tell me about other fiberart or tectile subjects or projects you liked or disliked. The world is rich with many people doing wonderful things with their threads and their cloths , why not describe that , and have fruitful discussions here that will enrich all the neeedleworkers here in one way or another? Colors can be wondered about , or criticized, or explained. Prefferences to big and small artworks could be discussed at length? it would be so much more to the point on this ng. Like the saying about idle hands , maybe lack of needlework subjects leads to those other less nicer subjects? mirjam
