Hey all....I don't post here much but I read your posts every day. Some of you may remember that I was the one doing the stained glass church window from a photo. This window is over 150 years old and I was originally inquriring about copyright. Got that worked out and finished stitching it. It took over a year to stitch. Then I had to get my D/H to cut out the frame. It took three tries but we finally got it right. The stitching area is about 27x8 inches at 16 count... Here is the link...(I think)
Photo to Cross stitch finished!!
Julie,
Congrats on a big finish! I tried the link, but it says "you are not the owner of this album"...and won't let me see the picture.

Oh - it sounds so neat, but I can't see it either!

I remembered that we went through this before so I searched google to find you again.
Here we are:
Julie, Your cross-stitched window came out beautifully.
Addie: Thanks for the corrected url so we could see this.

It is wonderful! I can't believe you got it done that quickly. I keep thinking I'd like to stitch the stained glass windows at my church but there are way too many for me to do in a lifetime.

I can't see it either! Could you please try again 'cause I'd sure love to see it. :)

Thank you Addie! Julie, it is just exquisite!! You did a fabulous job converting the photo to a chart, did you have to "tweak" it much? Really stunning job, you should be very proud. Great framing job too, pat hubby on the back.
Beautiful work Julie! Gives me hope Imay actually finish MY lastest (and longest lasting) project! :))
Maureen > Thanks everyone! I did have to tweak the pattern a lot. Too many confetti
Yes, the link worked. It turned out magnificently!! Congrats on a job well done!
