We all grow some herbs in gardens and/or window pots. I have a foldable bag in my Bag , and when i walk by some shops i might pick up fresh herbs or veggies, I have a Lemon tree in my garden that has lemons most year , i freeze some of the juice for summer limonade . When we have fresh herbs, we also dry them for later use,,,, i mix the dried ones in a glass bowl ,,,wonderful to add to soups and rice meals. I am also very kin on Pine nut [ i hope that is the name] it is a lovely addition to salads and in bread spreads ,,,,Esp the one made from Zucchini .. mirjam

Maureen does the same and occasionally has a purge on the freezer. Then we have a meal which consists of combinations of various deep-frozen "bits" - the combinations are often quite amazing and quite un-recreatable!
