Has anyone ever taken Marilynns framing class? Right now I order a frame and matte from my local framer and then do all the labor myself. I am completely self taught though and was just wondering if I would learn enough in Marilynns class to justify the cost. I think it is around $80 or 90 which would buy a lot of stash if I drop that class from my list. The rest of my class list is set for Hershey but I am going to have to make a decision on the framing class soon since registration is only a few weeks away. Beverly B
Question about CATS class

I took it a couple of years ago. She goes through the basics of lacing. The concept isn't that hard that you can't pick it up from a book. You do get a box of goodies, including a hammer, foam core and handout. The scariest thing about framing is the thought of ruining the piece.
If it was a choice between framing and stitchin' or stash, I'd go for the latter.

Thanks, I think that confirms what I was thinking. I think I will skip the class and spend the money in the shopping mart instead. Beverly B
