Not sure if anyone knows something about this.
Our local Rag Shop seems to be shutting down. Nothing in the paper, but the store has been getting less and less merchandise for a month now and now there are signs in the windows saying "Everything must go."
Anyone know if this is the entire chain?

I shop at the one in College Point, NY and my mother in law said that they were having great closeout sales. I hope it doesn't shut down as I don't have a JoAnn's and finding fabric in Queens or NY very hard unless I'm out on the island.

I just talked to the manager at my Rag Shop and he said that they are closing certain, poor sales stores.

The person I asked about why they were shutting down the one I went to said Home Depot owned the strip mall they were located in and wanted the space for an expansion.
