2nd scrapbook store in town!

We now have a 2nd scrapbook store in town and I just got back from there....spent almost $40! Yikes, didn't mean to do that. It was fun looking around though. Small, independent store, the owner buys only what she considers the best in category, though she buys the best in more than one price line.

I found some lovely paper and stickers to do a 2 page layout of my just turned 5 yr. old grand-daughter going fishing. Too cute! Got the pictures today. Then got some more pics of the new grandbaby now 7 wks. old. I'll never run out of things to scrap that's for sure!

Happiness is finding a new SS with products you've not seen before!

Lucky you! Our ONLY lss closed on August 31st. There are some stores in Omaha, but nothing left in Bellevue (where I live). This store has only been open a few years. I was thrilled to get it initially, but they never got anything new...same old stuff everytime I went in. They did get new paper, but it seems like everything else was the same. I got a postcard saying we got a new "Archivers" store in Omaha, but I haven't been there yet. I am excited to see it. They advertise in several magazines. The pictures look good so I have a lot of hope. Other than that, I have Michael's, JoAnn's and Wal*Mart.

Well, you still have as many places as we do since we don't have Michael's or JoAnn's, but since they don't specialize in scrapping I guess I come out ahead. I really liked this little store and hope she continues to try to find new and special things for it. Since she's limited to how much she can carry, she tries to make as much as possible different from what we can find anywhere else around here.

:-) We still have the one LSS here. I've been avoiding them....they've had lots of stuff on SALE. I'm trying to control my spending urges right now! Glad you found a 2nd store in town, though. Between the LSS, and Hobby Lobby, I'm pretty set. Hate to think about the thought of possibly moving away from it though! LOL

Deb, I am sure that you will get through all of this. I will pray that your husband gets the job in town and that you can continue to scrap and live where you are now. Would you mind emailing me your address, pls?

But Cecelia, we don't all SEE the same things when we go to a scrapbook store and often there are things we would never think to buy for ourselves. Besides I'm a kid at heart, I just love getting things in the mail!
