I have an acquaintance here in CA that is 1/4th Lakota (her children are 1/8 th) and they all receive BIG checks from the tribe each year.....the more Lakota you are, the more you get. Her kids have never stepped foot in SD and they get large amounts. They flash their cards and get free medical care, here in CA.
I have seen these checks and cards with my own eyes.
Maybe I'll write and ask them for a donation for me!
