I knew about your temperature extremes and Karen's link is the second time I've seen reference to the "toughest weather city" in the past few days.
My college roommate and her husband are moving to Moorhead where he's the President-elect of Concordia College and she mentioned the "weather" vote.

Actually they've never lived in Pgh....just New Wilmington, (kinda near Youngstown), North Carolina, Gettysburg, and currently Decorah, Iowa, (the northeastern corner). But New Wilmington might count as it's in the snow belt.

Congrats to him! Concordia is a really good school! I'm sure they'll be able to handle the weather here just fine. BTW, in case you didn't know, Moorhead is just across the river from Fargo, so she'll be able to pick stuff up for you from NN (or herself, if she's a stitcher!). :)
