And Sheena got it from me, but my email has been really wonky this week.

I was wondering which one of us had the nerve to post it? lol

Actually it was a male friend who sent it to me - with some comments about how I stitch etc, I won't repeat those lol (Not a male from this group, not a stitching male, no animals were harmed in the making of this)

I think Gillian suggested I post it, but I refrained lol

And my original copy, complete with a portrait of Maxine, came from my (I thought) straight laced sister-in-law.

Well, I know neither of you are straitlaced!

Maybe she is so straight laced she didn't get it the innuendo ?

She probably blushed, but sent it to me knowing I wouldn't think it offensive. A sense of humor is a sad think to waste.

Gawd, neither of us can type straight today!

My quiet day turned into a busy, busy, busy one. My typing hasn't been good for a while. And to think, I was one of best at work and learned to touch type at 12ish. My touch just aint what it used to was. lol

Don't say ain't, yer grandmother will faint !

Not my bubby. My grandmother spoke extremely accented English and besides, her favorite, bestest, smartest grandchild could do no wrong. My mother on the other hand would have been mad as hell.

My mother was not totally, but slightly, Hyacinth. She would have smacked me!!

There's one fellow on my local group who was stunned to meet me and find I did not speak like Hyacinth lol Funny how you have a picture of people on these groups and how often they are nothing like it. I don't mind being likened to Diana on Waiting for God, I agree with her on nearly everything lol
