I will be in the San Diego area (National City) next week. So where are the needlework stores hiding in the area. I lived at Camp Pendleton more than 20 years ago and I am sure there must be a whole lot more there now. I will be arriving on Tuesday and leave the following Monday.

There's one in Pacific Beach on Grand (which has been there since way back) and there's one in Escondido. Stitchcraft in Clairemont has closed.
I like visiting the Needle Nook of La Jolla when in San Diego. And there's a lovely bead store in Old Town San Diego that I always visit.

I wonder if that's the same bead store my mom and I went crazy at on a family vacation back in the late 70's? My poor Dad - we spent hours in there while he occupied himself elsewhere :P
