There are few buds poking up, but is bitterly cold in the wind and there were snow flurries this AM!

Oh, are you one of the people who is clogging our road so the traffic is at a standstill? It seems like the entire world is going to Tradition Stadium to watch the Mets play. They're really getting in my way this week.

Hi Cheryl,

I got to make it up to Colonial Needleworks. It really isn't that far from me. I just went and checked out their web site for hours and directions. I need to plan a time to go check it out.

And speaking of hockey, I got jealous watching my son play hockey (he's a Chelmsford Mite 2 player and I spend a lot of time at the Chelmsford Forum and Skate 3 rinks watching him) and decided to start playing myself. So I started practicing with the Nashua lady Panthers on their Tuesday or Wednesday late evening practices at Conway arena. Today we had a friendly practice scrimmage with a team from Groton. I ended up played for the Groton team in the scrimmage because they had fewer players than us today. Anyway, I'm still excited from that because I scored my first hockey goal in a game today! OK so it was just a friendly scrimmage but I'm still counting it!

The only problem with these late evening adult women hockey practices is that I can't go to sleep right afterwords and am tired at work the next day.

Oh yes, we also got a little snow here in Chelmsford today too. Just enough to make the grass white. But spring is trying to come. Saturday was really warm.

Evelyn,

Just a note. IF you come up to Colonial Needleworks and don't stop in to see me, I'll be upset. I work in the same building at Modern Bride, and I live less than 3 miles away. There is a stitch-in the first Thursday of the Month from

6pm to Closing. I am now able to make that as I am not doing Thursday evenings any more at work.

Yes, you have to! She's open Saturdays LOL - I might stop in after DD and I go to the Mite Cup this Saturday.

Good for you!

Try a glass of milk after and no "power drinks" before or during! DS's learned that one the hard way.

Don't talk to me about that snow - I ended up having to drive from home to Nashua to pick up DS's pads and then get to Manchester for his ice time. I left the house at 3:50 and got to the rink at 4:48 leaving him 20 minutes to get dressed. We hit snow - almost a white - twice running up the Everett. Cheryl

Hi Bobbie,

OK. I would love to stop by to see you. I'm most likely to go up on a Saturday. Do you work Saturdays? In any case when I plan my trip I'll send you email.

The stitch in thing sounds fun. They also have stitch nights at Cross Stitch Unlimited in Arlington MA which is closer to where I work. I went to that a few times. That was fun but I haven't gotten around to going for awhile.

Good grief. Today the snow was gone at least here. It was really just a dusting that went away in the sun. Good luck to your daugheter at the Mite Cup (I assume that must be a hockey tournament or event of some kind?)
