Stitching Jubilee

I've been away for a bit, but haven't seen any posts on the Stitching Jubilee by Marilyn of Stoney Creek. It is at the beginning of October in Valley Forge, PA.

Anybody here going to be there?

Wow! I posted this on April 18th and then haven't been able to read the news group until today.

Is it that others lives are going crazy as mine, or is it that no one on this group is going to the Stitching Jubilee?

If you haven't heard about it, go to

formatting link
and check it out. Registration starts at the beginning of June and if we want this type of festival to continue we need to support it.

The Stitching Jubilee is sponsored by Marilyn Vredevelt of Stoney Creek and will be similar the former CATS and Stitching Festival. Please check it out.

Happy Stitching!

Where exactly is the "black hole of needlework" in Northern AZ? Since I am in Scottsdale, I want to be sure not to miss it if I drive north someday. Rachel in Scottsdale

Rachel,

I live in Sedona. We moved a year ago and I had a needlepoint shop in my town there as well as Michaels and a fabric store. There is a knitting shop in Sedona that carries DMC, but I have to go to Flagstaff or Prescott just for DMC. Anything else and I have to head your way to the shops in the Phoenix area.

If you ever find yourself in Scottsdale we should meet for coffee or something. Send me an e-mail and we can make arrangements. However with the price of gas these days I won't hold my breath. Rachel in Scottsdale
