Small golf chart

DH's aunt Priscilla is moving to Florida from New York state. She is an ardent golfer ( just plays 9 holes now, not 18 and no longer championship courses)). It is her passion, along with bridge. She is the only family member for whom I have made nothing.

Does anyone know of a "tasteful" golf-themed small chart for me to stitch.? It needs to be small, because she is 93, just widowed, and who knows how long she has. LOL. She does appreciate home-made things however, and plans to be alive for five more years .

Visited the 96 yr old stepmother today. I knitted her a lovely scarf last year, and was with Brat when she persuaded me to buy the yarn. She loves it,and told me she puts it around her shoulders in the evening when she watches TV.

I have not stitched anything for her, but will stitch the Victoria Sampler Rhode Island chart I think.

Maybe you could design one along the lines of Old Golfers Never Die, They just lose their balls - now seriously - I am sure there are dozens of bridge related ones.

Hi,

I have a Bucilla kit, small 5 x7..it has golf clubs, bag, ball on tee and picture of man golfing all withing a plaid frame..if that sounds good, you can have it..no cost. got it in the batch of LenaRose stuff I bought and not likely to stitch it.. My DH is into baseball and football than into golf...his golf bag is probably making a nice home for spiders out in the garage...

There is also a Hinzeit "GOLF" chart with charms - it just says golf, but people seem to like them.

Thanks to all of you for the ideas~ I have done a couple of Henzeit, and they are fun. However I just browsed thrh 1-2-3.com and found a vaiety of charts, from Valerie pfeiffer to real new stuff.

Anyway, I ordered three boollets, and Joanne promised they would be in the mail today Normally I don't rush into things, but she is old... or suoerelderky, and I ant to have it as a Apt-warming" gift in Oct.

Thanks gang
