Her prior owners have no imagination. They had Kitty and White Kitty. Oh, yeah, real clever.

When the baby was allergic and they gave the cats away, I refused to have a child with such a boring name as "Kitty", but she wouldn't answer to the other options I suggested. DH (a Gunsmoke fan) suggested Miss Kitty. She was OK with it, but has since made it clear that her correct name is "Her Majesty, The Lady Katharine, ruler of all she surveys", though she will tolerate Miss Kitty among friends, so long as you remember that her dignity requires the honorific preceding her name.

And to think the best I could come up with for my parrotlet was Percival, Lord Smallwing. ;)

I'm using rayon floss to do a Harley Davidson for my BIL. It's a real pain in the !@#$%^& but I like the look that it's giving it. I used flower thread for the front tire & will probably use some kind of metalic for the spokes. I keep myself sane by using shorter strands and by using the damp paper towel method to keep the rayon under control. I'll be glad to get past the motorcycle and on to the policeman on the side. :-) Since BIL has already retired, my goal now is to get it done before he & I both die of old age. :-)) Liz from Humbug

If anyone is really interested, I'm sure they could Google Thread Heaven and you would find a plethora of info on the stuff that is certainly more informative than the stuff any of us remember. Well -- except for the fact that it works (and really well, too) especially for rayon fiber! That stuff is so ornery, I routinely use both spit and TH to keep it tamed!!! CiaoMeow >^;;^<
