Spitting mad

I absolutely despise, detest, loathe kit makers who press folds into fabric!!!!!!!!!!! To remove those abominations from a crewel pillow design prior to stitching, I dampened the fabric causing a lot of the pattern to disappear or get blurry!!!!!!!!!!

You may be asking why I didn't wait until the project was finished and then stretch and iron it ... well, I didn't do that because I may substitute materials for the floss that could be damaged by water or melt under an iron.

Insert next person's angry rant here:

Ever try dampening a towel and placing that on the NONprinted side on the fabric when ironing? Might that work a bit better?

FYI, within 2 days of emailing them, Janlynn sent me a replacement pillow top (and bottom). It, like the original, has fold lines but this time, when the project makes it way back to the top of my to do list, I won't dampen it until I'm finished stitching.
