Stash from Lena Rose arrived

The other day there was an announcement from Lena Rose Designs of Kissimmee going out of business offer. For $22, you would receive a Flat Rate box full of goodies. Well, I followed up on it, and it has arrived!! I just had a cursory look, but it looks a fantastic bargain. There is fabric, MH beads and Treasures, floss, charts, kits and that is what I found at first peek. It is rather like a Christmas stocking LOL.

I am currently trying to put some of the things back where they belong after the major re-flooring project. I am trying to weed out things I had just shoved away in drawers, cupboards etc and don't need, from the good stuff! Being a pack rat, this is a long and tedious chore. Tonight, when I have accomplished today's goals (empty the bathtub of all the bedroom stuff piled up in there), I shall treat myself to perusing my new stash.

I don't know if anyone else here made an order, but I am really happy. No affiliation etc, but this is FUN! DH said I should have ordered more than one!!

Gillian

I ordered one and got mine yesterday. I am very happy with most of it, but I did get several charts I will be offering up here - I'm not big into hearts and I got the "heart" box apparently lol. Still, more than enough for my $22!

Loved my 3 boxes so much I just ordered 2 more! Can't beat the price!

Arrrgh - US orders only.

LOved my 1 box, so ordered 2 more! I wish I was up near you Marg; I could have ordered them for you, and we could have got together to transfer ownership. Sadly Forida is a bit too far away from Ontario(it is Ont, isn't it?)

Gill

Okay, Okay--stop pushing already. I gave in and placed an order for a box. Mostly because you said you LOved it and I figured that made it a terrific buy. \Lucille

Don't blame me if it isn't your cup of tea!! LOL. However, most of what I have seen so far is great. The Hardanger is not in my bailiwick, but I am sure that I will find a good home for it. Unlike the "grab bags" on Ebay, these are not ancient charts ( as far as I have gotten to anyway)!

G

I'm looking forward to receiving it. Hardanger isn't my thing either but I'm sure someone out there will want it.

Yes, it is. But you've given me a great idea. I have friends who are in a motorhome in Florida. We've probably be visiting them in the next few months. Hmmm, maybe I can get it sent to them at the campground.

MargW

Matter of curiosity...where in Florida?? We also have a motorhome, which we primarily use in the summer to get away from the Florida heat and humidity. If it somewhere near me,( between Orlando and Tampa) and receiving mail is a problem for them, I would be happy to be middle-man so to speak. Of course, it IS quite a large state!

Gill

They are in LaBelle which according to their e-mail is between Lake Okeechobee and Ft Myers. They are house sitting,as well.

MargW

Oh, yes, they are WAAYYY south of us; in the hot area, just east of Ft Myers, but inland. It is *very* rural; sugarcane, I think, is the prevalent industry. On the south shore of Lake Okeechobee is a really neat old town, Clewiston. WE went to the sugar festival there one year. Interesting seeing them grind the cane with the old engines.

When the MIL was moved from Miami to where we live, I left her condo well after Jim and her. It was getting dark, so I stayed overnight in the old Hotel there. very historic, and a step back into yesteryear!
