I finished a fairy using linen floss from DMC and Rainbow Gallery and even thought Rainbow Gallerys heavy it looks great and I didnt have any problems with it. I dont know if you can use it on a normal project. I use different fibers so it doesnt stand out as being to thick. I would use it again. And wonder if DMC is going to add more colors? Donna

This reminds me - didn't I read that this was supposed to be available at Hobby Lobby in March? Mine, to date, hasn't had it!

I thought I read on here that Hobby Lobby was going to start carrying this in March. So far, mine hasn't gotten any :( Anybody out there know if they are still going to?
The Hersh (whatever) catalog says the DMC colors will be available individually in June. I spotted some in a large craft store in Ohio two weeks ago, but they only had black and noone knew how much they were.
I'm going to use mine for the grasses and wildflower charts that came with the set.

I finally have mine in the shop -- and I ordered them in January. Sheesh! They're awfullly pretty, though. Very soft colors. I could only get the boxed assortement. I assume "open stock" will be available soon.
