Any idea why its so far after winning states? That seems very odd to me.

They probably have a great facility and bid on it long ago. It happens in sports. This year, the (swimming) Zone meet for the Central Zone was in northern North Dakota. . .

That was probably here at UND. We've had a pretty good swimming program over the years and an Olympic-sized pool here on campus.

It was - we did not go, however. Nothing against North Dakota, but a week of vacation and a 12+ hour drive for one, maybe two swims, for a
14 yo is a bit much. . .linda
The folks at USA hockey do realize that many of the boys (and a few girls) on split season midget teams go directly to high school play.
