Where is everyone?

Strange times indeed. I remember reading the book and just feeling like doom and gloom. It was very scary.

NPR online and on the radio is always good too - not much at all of that "low-IQ cr*pola" as we refer to it here!

I too find that I get more objective news by reading the online news from other countries outside of the US - looking back at ourselves is very different from the dribble that's fed to us as unwashed masses. I often admit to my coworkers in other countries that I'm embarrassed by the U.S. and how we're perceived as I try to think that I am NOT like the majority of Americans. Of course we'll have to wait and see how all the international politics plays out to determine how we end up looking in the history books.
