I don't remember who posted a request for stores between Maine and Pennsylvania; but a source that has been useful to me is:

I used this to search my locale and did it using three different terms
- needlework, cross stitch, and needlepoint. These searches left out three local shops.
I would recommend using as many different shop locators as you can find and comparing. I know Hoffman and Kreinik both have one. But I also wouldn't go visit a shop that I found online without verifying first that they will be open the day you will be there.
