I know many of you make your own glazes...but I wanted to recommend 3 little known brands that I have been using. One is Georgie's

They have sampler sets each of their types of =glazes in 4oz pots. I got one of each - I am trying to figure out my ="palette." They alos give a lot of good information about pretty combos =of their glazes. Another is Coyote Color available at

They have several great colors that =work well together. Coyote's website shows some nice combo's too. I =don't recommend the fire opal - it turns ornage on me...but highly =recommend the crazed copper and the shinos. Another beautiful glaze is =by Rainbow. Kickwheel carries it, but is out of the red, which I think =is the most beautiful glaze around. It is reminiscent of a Ben Owens =red but breaks whereever there is texture/throwing marks and shows the ¾auty of the clay. While kickweel is currently out of this wonderful =glaze...I did manage to get some at

It's expensive =$22 including tax and shipping...but worth it!
