i was passed a fun project idea from my wife - something she saw in a mail order catalog.
the idea is to make face parts to put on a tree.
make the eyes, nose, and mouth. all separates. they come together when they hang on the tree. the tree makes up the head.
make sure there are holes in the back to hang the pieces on a nail head.
make the pieces kind of large since a good tree might be big.
once fired apply the pieces onto the tree to make the tree look like it has a face.
i'm using a black clay body to help the face pieces hide inthe tree bark a little.
it sure looks like a fun project to have kids do.
