At an upcoming craft fair one of the vendor requirements are sandbags for securing the tent. I have never had to use sandbags before so I'm looking for some advice as to where I can get some or how I can make some. I would appreciate any and all advice.

around here, when it rains, we're told to see the local firestaion for sandbags. they provide them.
i'm sure they could care less if they are "sandbags" but mainly want canopes secured to the ground. i've seen cinderblocks, tent stakes, water jugs, etc. anything besides nothing so the wind doesn't blow stuff into the neighbor's area.

I think water jugs work better then sandbags and they are easier to tote around. Go to a hardware store, buy four large plastic gas cans and fill them with water instead of using sandbags.
