Tenmoku glaze?

Dec 02, 2003 6 Replies

Has anyone got a good Tenmoku glaze recipe they can share? I want to achieve those deep reds that I have seen. Thanks.

I've just Googled *tenmoku glaze recipes* and got plenty of results. Try here for a start:

Are you sure you don't mean copper red? Tenmoku is black and tan

Oh, sorry, you're right. This was a glaze where the red was hard to get, but when it didn't happen it was black. But the red was very deep and beautiful.
