Pat, thanks for suggesting this, it's a great idea. I will go ahead and send these (waiting for hear a reply from the first requestor) as they are from the first area I've organized. I have plenty of other quilt magazines in other places, a couple year's worth that I have to sort through that will need new homes, so there will be plenty more Kate when the time comes. ;o) Mickie p.s. are there other r.c.t.q.'ers that have been devistated like Kate?

Let me know too, when the time is right. I have some good stuff I could send her that I was going to put on Ebay or Amazon. Just as soon send them to RCTQ'er. Thanks for the suggestion.

IN THE COOKIES OF LIFE, FRIENDS ARE THE CHOCOLATE CHIPS.

Is anybody keeping track of the things that have been offered to Kate? I wonder because I have set aside a few books to send to her when she is ready. It suddenly occurred to me that she might not want to have to deal with multiple copies of books or magazines, etc. if several of us are doing that.

Just curious.

I hardly ever respond to anything coming in from 'sewgirls' because we never know if it was originally posted in 2009 or 1742. That said, I surely miss our Mickey. I'm so happy to see that part of the post was from someone who wanted the duplicate magazines. Lots of my NewBorn in Need quilts have been inspired by Mickey's talent and choices. She's gotten me cranked up and eager to begin another one when enthusiasm failed me. Surely missing our Mickey, Polly

Oh, my, that is an old post. Not only Mickie but also Willene (aka Snigdibbly). Snigs passed away five or six years ago. I used Mickie's "New Millennium" pattern for my Y2K quilt (which was made from charmsquares from many RCTQers).
