30 of 40 blocks complete

Only four blocks were made this week but this brings the total to 30 leaving only 10 to be completed in the next 16 days. Doesn't sound like such a high mountain to climb now.

Blocks completed this week : Spring Beauty, Yvonne Khin page 63 Table for Four, Yvonne Khin page 125 Fare Trade, sorry don't see where that came from Sky Rocket, Yvonne Khin page 152

Now I must decide on the final 10 blocks. I have more block patterns than that printed. A few were some of those blocks you always wanted to make like Dove in a Window and Star of Bethlehem. Don't know that I have the patience to make those blocks right now. Guess I better start by re-reading the sentiments the finished blocks express and see if there is anything I have missed. I could always design an original block and give it a name to fit a category.

This has been fun but I am ready to finish and move on to something else. Guess I would never make it as one of those quilters who works for years on the same project.

Great job, Susan! You're on the downhill end of it now. Those blocks are going to make an incredibly meaningful anniversary gift. Well worth all the effort you've devoted to the project.
