Indigo Stars was a Christmas gift from DH, a kit from Connecting Threads. It was hand appliqued, machine pieced and machine quilted.As part of my plan to use up some scraps I decided to attack my flannel scraps, collected from the leftovers of many baby and kids' quilts. I cut 2 1/2 inch strips and made strip sets, matching light and dark. The simple rail fence was quick and easy to make. I made enough blocks to make 3 baby quilts, then used the brighter colours to make a larger quilt (it is in the process of being pin-basted). I know that I have used a lot of scraps, but the piles of left-over flannel don't seem any smaller.......
