I've just finished making the top to a Christmas tree wall hanging. It was a pattern by Renae Merrill, and it was published in the current issue of American Quilter. I loved the way the photo showed the log cabins swirling around to make the branches of the tree, so I decided to give it a try while I'm waiting for my Winding Ways quilt to be basted for me; I've posted a photo on my blog (URL below). I'll hurry and sandwich this wall hanging and try to get it quilted before the WW sandwich comes back for me to quilt.
A fun top

It's gorgeous and I LOVE it! I had a thought- I wonder how it would look if you went back to the lighter greens for the center four vertical off white sections? Hmmmmm.... I may have to try this one. (Next year!) Good job, Sandy!

That's just lovely. One of the first log cabin patterns that has me thinking, "I'd like to do that".
I hope you enjoy the quilting.

Beautiful, Sandy!
