A pinwheel wall hanging quilt

Nov 09, 2008 2 Replies

Here is the second of 2 quilts made from some leftover pieces of a finished bed quilt project. What you have is another wall hanging, This one is 72" tall x 43" wide. It hangs in the stairwell between floors and brightens up an area that is otherwise rather stark. I think it is called pin wheel, but I am not sure. It is just a result of assembling these pieces in a random order until I liked the effect. This represents the last of this bunch of pieces. I am going through my stash and whittling down the leftovers and turning them into new quilts and wall hangings. Another argument for buying "enough" fabric to do a quilt. You always have some left over to do something else, You liked the first one so the leftovers should be pleasing, also. What Fun!
