A "Your Pick" top done

Thanks Laurie!

I've been wondering about Terbear too. I did visit her site a few months back and it looks like she's still adding quilts to it. She's so prolific, maybe she's busy quilting?

Best regards, Michelle in Nevada

Yep, I think you're right. I think I even picked it out (Was mine the four maple leaves? Even if it wasn't, I think I'll claim it, because I sure do like it!).

Very pretty set, Michelle. The narrow sage edge on each block really makes an impact. The leaves as border seal the theme and frame the top. PAT

Thank you Pat! I must admit my mom and I borrowed the narrow frame around each block idea from Louise in Iowa. (I'm using it on my quilt top from the same swap.) In a previous swap Louise had used a novelty neon fish fabric for the swap, and she framed each block in black. The effect was stunning.

Such a beautiful job!! I am honored to be part of that quilt. (My square is the butterfly, second from the left on the top row.) My squares are waiting, patiently, for me to use them. I hope Terbear gets a chance to see your picture. She would love it, too.

Hi Connie,

So good to "see" you! :-) Yes, I remember that you were in that swap. That is a beautiful block! I'm going to have to get out my top (I'm in the process of working on it) and see if I can remember which block is yours. On down the line, I may have to ask you. I kick myself for not labeling them. Heck, I was just like a kid in a candy store every time I got a new block in the mailbox, and just didn't keep track.

I hope Terbear makes an appearance too. :-)

Hi Terri!

So nice to "see" you. :-) And I agree, my mom did do a wonderful job. We've spray basted the quilt, so now she's down to getting the thread in order to get started.
