Help me pick a pattern

I hit an amazing sale and came home with 14 FQs that look really great together -- all purple, shades of purple or complimentary to purple (and one really great yellow). DH's niece loves purple and has a new house. I sense a house warming quilt.

So my question for today: what's the simplest yet cutest quilt to make with 14 FQs? I am leaning toward nine-patches and solid blocks, with some sort of applique on the solid blocks. But ...

Hit me with your best shot!

My personal favorite for an easy pattern is disappearing nine-patch. I've made two and with different fabrics they look completely different. With lots of FQ you could start with a variety of "starter" nine patches and end up with a lovely random effect.

Polly, Purple is the best color ever. I'll take any purple any day for any quilt. Pair it with a good green and I'm in Heaven.

How about the Yellow Brick Road pattern. Just made an almost twin size with

12 fat quarters. In one afternoon. Easy, looks hard but's not, and looks great.

There's a great quick-piecing pattern in the most recent Quiltmaker magazine: "Anita's arrowheads." I'm dying to give it a try!
