Hi Guys,
Happy New Year to Everyone.
I've started the cabled cardigan in the Fall 2006 Vogue Knitting and have come across a couple of problems I hope someone can help me with.
First: The stitch glossary says: 5-st LPC: slip 3 st to cn and hold in front, k2, sl p st from cn and p1, then k2 from cn.
My problem is I don't understand the *sl p st from cn and p1* part. Where do I slip this stitch to? Does it just mean to p first of 3 stitches on cn then k the other 2?
My other question is: In the stitch glossary, the above mentioned stitch is identified as 5-st LPC, but on the chart it is identified as
5-st LC. In the glossary, there is no other mention of of a 5 stitch left cable, and in the chart key, there is no mention of the 5-st LPC. Are these terms interchangable, or could this be some kind of typo? I looked on the VK corrections page online, but there was nothing there.
I really appreciate your help with this.
