Cast On 30 sts.

Row 1: (WS) K

Row 2: P

Row 3: K

Row 4: K2, ssk, (p2,k2) 5X, p2, k2tog, k2

Row 5: ( and all following ws rows except 15) P the p sts and k the k sts as established

Row 6: : ( and all the following rs rows up to 16) k2, ssk, k or p as previous rows to last 4 sts, k2tog, k2.

Row 15: P3, k1, (p2, K2tog)2x, p2,k1,p3.

Row 16: K2, ssk, (k2, p1) 2x, k2,k2tog,k2.

Row 18: K2, ssk, k1,p1,k2,p1,k1,k2tog, k2.

Row 20: K2,ssk,p1,k2,p1,k2tog, k2

Row 22: K2, ssk, K2. K2 tog, k2

Row 24: K2, ssk, k2tog, k2

Row 26: K2, k2tog, k2.

Row 28: K1, sl1,K2tog, psso, k1.

Row 30: Sl1, k2tog, psso.

Fasten off

Diamond Shape

Cast on 23 sts.

Row 1: P

Row 2: K10, sl2tog knitwise, k1, p2sso, knit to end.

Row 3: and all ws rows, P

Row 4: K9, sl2tog knitwise, k1, p2sso, knit to end.

Continue knitting 1 fewer stitch at either side of dec, working dec on rs rows, until there is 1 st left. Place on holder for later use, or fasten off. This can be worked on any odd number of stitchs, 25, 27, 31, etc
