Another Baby to quilt for-long

The babies being born to this group is growing by leaps and bounds. I just got the news the young lady that mowed my lawn is having a boy. I knew she was preggers but didn't know till yesterday what she was having.

Her grandmother and I were talking about her and her checkups. I said well she has to take it easy till next year, huh. The grandmother said the doctor told this mother-to-be that she could do anything she wanted to as along as she felt she could do it.

The young lady did not tell the doctor she...hunts deer and wild hogs, water ski's, jet ski's, rides horses and mud bogs. Mud bogging is driving a truck with those big tires thru muddy terrain like a river, muddy field, etc.

The mother-to-be prefers John Deere riding mowers and ATV's. Should I make the baby a John Deere theme quilt??

Absolutely, Kate. A John Deere quilt is definitely called for. Do be fussy about buying that fabric. I've seen some that was nice and somehow, some that was less than a good grade. Making that quilt ought to be such fun. Polly

I made a camouflage quilt for a friends little girl. At his request. It turned out cute.

My great-granddaughter's Mom is also a Deere-fanatic! At TSWLTH, I found the cutest panel-quilt fabric with a big teddybear riding a JohnDeere tractor (in front of a bard and with several farm animals on it, too.) Made one up in a jiffy and the lil one loves it! Don't know if they still carry that fabric. (Also check what Polly said -- do check the fabric!) ME-Judy
