just signed up for an online class

I have taken two classes before from Quilt University and just signed up for another to start July 31. You might want to check it out. You can print the lesson any time after it is posted and procede at your own pace, within limits. You can post your work and get tips from the instructor. They have quite a variety of classes and instructors.

Which one are you taking? (It's one of my favorite places for learning new techniques). Allison

Filament Fantasy with Linda Schmidt. I love her work! I don't do a lot of artsy but I am hoping to learn a few tricks that I can apply to future work.

I took their basic EQ6 class and learned more in the first lesson than I'd done on my own since before EQ5! I didn't keep up with the class but was able to print everything out and keep it to finish on my own, and it's been so helpful. Highly recommended.

Now I'm thinking about the basic cotton dyeing coming up. Anyone going for that?

Heidi: The EQ6 class might be what I need. Who taught that one for you? Ta, PAT

PAT: It was Fran Gonzalez. She was wonderfully helpful, even with questions not related to the material we were covering.

j*: Let's see. Drafting blocks more easily comes to mind most readily, but there was stuff I'm probably taking for granted now! One of the biggest things for me was "making friends" with software I'd not found terribly friendly, so I can figure out how to do things when I need to.

I've been struggling along with the book and the tutorials, and think this might be an excellent option! Thanks for the link!
