Last week I finished the April UFO requirement at my guild. It is a small lap robe or table topper that was from the 2006 Holiday Mystery. It is okay .... not my favorite quilt, but I jazzed it up by using a fantastic glamorous backing! Once it was finished I realized it would be a nice addition to my friends' new t.v. room furniture. So, I will probably add a wee bit of quilting (is the quilting ever REALLY finished?!) and send it to that couple. Yippee .... I managed to cross another one off the list!

Good for you, Pat! You're really whizzing through these UFOs! :)
Now, Pat. You can not just wave that flag in front of us without telling us what the 'fantastic glamorous backing' is. Please go see if you have a sliver of selvedge left and can at least point us to it. Much of the time, I figure the little ones that I make quilts for enjoy the backing more than they do the top. So long as they know they are hugged it doesn't matter. We would love to see what you discovered. Polly
It is red and yellow on black .... with lots of metallic gold. The design is swirly .... like a stormy ocean. Very dramatic.
