I will let someone else comment on hotels as I live here and haven't used them! here is the RCTQ yahoo group for the really big show

Thanks girls for the tips. I'll pass them on.I have no other details on Flo's visit at this stage. Incidently. we have several girls from our guild making the trip to Houston which is just terrific. I'm still thinking about it, depends whether DH and I can get some good priced business class airfares across the Pacific. Side news: DH put in his retirement papers to work yesterday! He had already been scaling down with 3 days a week work for the last 3 years. He's only 54yrs so will need to look at lots of activities - apart from our frequent travelling . Should work out just fine

- I've got my tennis days and quilting and we both love hanging out on our deck in the sunshine!
