I would like to try this thread but need to know if the spools will fit on the machine without a special holder? They all seem to have 1400 yds of thread on the spool and not sure if it will fit. I really dont want to use anything but the machine spool holder.

Aurifil does just fine on a horizontal holder. It sort of wobbled on the vertical holder; easily solved. I just slipped a plain old drinking straw over it and the fit was a little snugger. Actually, it didn't matter that it wobbled a little. I just thought it might. Polly
