I spent Tuesday and Wednesday this week at my semi-annual quilting retreat. As always, I had a good time -- lots of good food, fellowship, quilt talk, and actual quilting :). I worked on the valances for the nursery for DD's baby and pieced a quilt top for a lap quilt for a wedding gift. I also started a string pieced jacket using 30's repro fabrics. I spent quite a bit of time embellishing a wide strip for the front with vintage decorative braid (left over from a dress my mom made for me almost 60 years ago) and rick-rack. I can't wait to get it done so I can wear it. But first I have to quilt the crib quilt for the grandbaby's nursery. Then there are the valances and bumper to finish and the dust ruffle to make. I'm not going to run out of projects any time soon :)
