Red rick-rack?

Help! I can't find it anywhere, and I need about 8 yards of it for this wallhanging I would like to have done by April 13th. I can't find any red rickrack on

Does anyone have any in their LQS? Feeling quite desperate...

I bought some for a quilt here

I've since moved away, but I wonder if you call if they could take a credit card payment over the phone and mail it to you. Anne

Oh how funny! I used to shop in that store, when I lived in Over, Cambridgeshire. That was 12 years ago, and they didn't have a website back then. :) Yes, I'll give them a phone call!

Howdy!

Rick-rack is not a common quilting item so many (most?) quilt shops don't carry it. Many fabric/sewing supply shops will, as do some scrapbooking shops.

Good luck! R/Sandy

how funny, it was my local store for ages, my best friend worked there for a while too

I just bought some last week at my local Hancock Fabrics. What size do you want -- jumbo, medium, or baby? If you don't have any luck getting it elsewhere, I'm willing to pick it up and airmail it to you.

Have you tried John Lewis? Their haberdashery department sells all sorts of stuff. The only other place I know for sure will have it is a wee "everything" shop in Oxfordshire but that's not much use now I've moved. Morag

Have you tried Loose Threads in Perth? or Edinburgh Fabrics in Newington, Edinburgh?
