Minkee scraps?

Dec 09, 2010 2 Replies

Hello, I am hoping to trade with someone. I only need a FQ of bright yellow Minkee fabric, and a FQ of white Minkee, but I can't find any locally and it would cost as much in shipping to order a half yard of each online as the fabric itself!

Does anyone have some scraps they would like to trade for quilting cotton? I have lots of different colours and prints, just tell me what you need!

Jo, I would love to help you but I've never even seen any bright yellow Minkee; wouldn't have let it come home with me if I had. Bright yellow is rather unkind to baby coloring and I avoid it just in case one of the wee folks I hug is a little jaundiced. If you are doing an appliqué, have you considered using fleece? SewBaby has a very special grade of fleece that we've enjoyed for ducks and baby chicks. Polly

I want to make a rainbow-coloured minkee-fabric ball for Tristan while the weather is not so great and he is ill and has to stay inside. I have all the other colours of the rainbow except yellow, his favourite colour! I have located it online, but it is bulky and makes the shipping expensive...
