click on techniques page. lots of patterns in pdf file format to download. most of them are bags/chequebook cover/make-up type bag, triangle bag, 4 sided sq bag, etc. the one i was fascinated by was the one that is like a quillow. a bag that folds up into a wee wallet size when not needed but will unfold to hold heaps of stuff. this is it.

ennaej What key(s) do you hold down to make the words go backwards? I have a lil niece that I'd LOVE to write a letter to doing this. Don't have the time to do each word let alone sentence backwards. She's into 'codes' right now: )

Thanks ylfrettuB

I think that if you type your name but just use the left arrow key alternately with the letters so that the next letter is inserted automatically before the one just typed it will work. I'' try. I epoh taht uoy lliw evah a ylevol noonretfa.

That hardly took longer than usual. No problem at all!! (except for spellchecker!) . In message , Butterflywings writes

Why, Sandy, how very sweet of you to volunteer! Yes, please do translate ALL of the patterns for us! And, as long as you are translating the words, please translate the measurements as well. VBEG

LOL! Leslie, I'd be glad to translate the words to whatever pattern (singular! ) you want, but measurements just don't translate well. :S

Sandy, I don't need the measurements translated ( there are web sites that do that any way).

French wasn't an option when I went to school. We had a choice of German, Ag Science or History.

You did mean one pattern per person didn't you :-))))))

I meant translate the measurements from metric to "American"! LOL No, Sandy, I was just teasing. I can pretty much figger out anything from a photo. And these wouldn't be difficult at all. But you truly are very kind and generous to offer to translate even one for me! Thanks a bunch for being so sweet.

Just a warning, Dee, that translating measurements is almost always a sure-fire recipe for disaster. They just don't translate nicely from metric to another system -- or vice versa. :(

Is there a pattern you'd like me to translate the instructions for?

I was joking Sandy. As lovely as the patterns are I really don't need to my 'oneday' pile. I am really good at printing or saving patterns and never doing them. I did save a couple of them as it was.

Actually what is the butterfly ? Is it a pot holder?

The measurements aren't a problem as we use the metric system anyway.
