Bernina owners

Susan, the "better" is always in the eye of the beholder, so it's just MHO. However, I prefer dials to buttons, and the 630 had those. It also has a *permanent* memory, so I can program in things I use a lot (a small stitch for paper piecing, some wording for quilt labels, etc.) and not lose them. Oh, and the BSR also works in a zigzag mode, which is fun for thread painting, though I haven't done anything other than some basic playing with that yet. As I said, MHO!

There's one thread cutter where you wind bobbins, one in the bobbin area, and one beside the needle (normal place). Very handy!
