Thanks to whoever posted the link to Blank fabric's free FQ giveaway. I filled in the survey, never thinking they'd bother to send something to the UK. And this morning I got an envelope with a FQ in it - and the fabric is lovely! Usually with that sort of survey they send the stuff nobody else wants. Very impressed.

Mine arrived 2 days ago, and was my favourite - stripes! It has orange stripes on red, with gold along the edges of the stripes. Very nice. Sadly, too small to make myself a shirt out of it...

Well, that answered the question I was going to ask -- did they send the same fabric to everyone. Answer = no
Mine is small (maybe 1/2"?) overlapping circles of poiple, green, yellow, blue and black. Some of the circles have gold outlines. NOT a fabric I would have pulled off the shelf in the LQS, but strangely lovely at the same time.
Is anyone planning on making the block to send back to them for their quilt?

I just got mine yesterday too. It is a green and blue batik with these frondy leaves on it. What does yours look like (just curious). Thanks to whomever posted the information.
mine's black bacground with bars of green, red and yellow in a random arrangement - reminds me sort of that children's game "pick up sticks". Very unusual and good quality. morag
