******************************* Due to popular demand, I have "FINALLY" written up my instructions on how draft a spiderweb block for string piecing. Spiderwebs are great for using up short lengths of strings and crumbs!

Heh, heh -- I am not the only one to have a Bonnie Book, in which I have printouts of all of her patterns. She's been asked why she doesn't write a book (if I remember correctly, she has been approached by a publisher). She would rather have all the concepts and instructions widely available. Truly generous!

Howdy!

I quilted one of these Spiderweb quilts for a lady in Ft.Worth, about 8 yrs. ago.

m-i-l had recev'd the top from another family member 50-60 yrs. ago,hand-pieced. It was a delight to see and play w/ all the older fabrics. Some blocks were "stringier" than others. Someone had fun putting thistogether. Those yellow stars between the webs were almost perfectly pieced.Very nice pattern.
