Remember when we made those at my house, J? and the little tiny ones from the water bottle caps and golf tees for putting in a spool of thread....

Those are really cute. I printed a tutorial for these a long time ago and then began to collect pop caps.

I found the pop caps one day and couldn't remember what I was saving them for and threw them out. Now, I need to start over.

I have a question for anyone who works with wool felt - how do you mark your felt and how do you cut out tiny shapes so perfectly?

Cindy, I have used freezer paper templates, pressed to the felt as patterns. Either draw around the freezer paper with a fine pen like a very fine Sharpy or such. Cut just so you cut the line off. Works on small and larger pieces.

There are probably other ways too, but this is one I have actually used.

As for the bottle caps, put them in a bag/box that is labeled "For bottle top pincushions" then you may remember what they are for as you collect them.

Have fun, Pati, > Those are really cute. I printed a tutorial for these a long time ago and

i sure do remember. do you and A use those ones i made for you. pink for A as i recall. now those were both wrist size made from juice bottle caps tho, eh? maybe we'll do some more of those or other things one day soon. remember all those 3D tree/flying geese blocks we made for your swap. good grief, had a hard time finding enough greens in your stash as i recall. i'd hope you have a few more greens now...knowing how important that colour is to the world, i think everyone should have a bunch of different shades. green always goes with anything that could be a flower too. hugz, j.
