I had a couple of other emails about the block so I have posted it on webshots under Hugs - along with a couple of other 6-point stars I have used in the past.

Mary, your star is just "drop-dead gorgeous". How very beautiful. Wow. I know, I know. This is not a quilt show. We are not competing. We are sending love, but it is just wonderful to me to get to see our beginners and our great ones and the rest of us who have the time to do a hug. There have been hugs I couldn't take part in, hugs I didn't know about, hugs when all I could do was send a dollar to help with the costs. One day, I'm going to just beat the pants off of Mary with those perfect sharp points. Some of you won't live that long; me ?, I'm going to live to be 98 and the points may take a while yet. Polly
